Direct Image® 2012 Workshop Wrap-Up
The response to our first ever Direct Image® Workshop surprised even us! Preparation for the workshop was a lot of work and at times tension was high but when the day finally arrived all the work was worthwhile. 85 people took advantage of this opportunity and attended the DI Workshop. Included among the attendees were participants from Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Japan, and Belgium.
Many products were shown for the first time including the HPT Groundwater Sampler, Low Level MIP, and Drivable FFD. Case studies of the newly released MiHpt were discussed and data reviewed. We give special thanks to Todd Morgan and Tom Koester of S2C2 in Raritan, NJ for sharing data from their usage of the MiHpt tool.
No visit to Geoprobe® is ever complete without seeing tools run in the ground and the DI Workshop was no exception. Afternoon demonstrations included Low Level MIP, HPT Groundwater Sampler, and Drivable FFD. The workshop also provided attendees the opportunity to network with one another and proved that this group is passionate about what they do and are willing to work together to drive the Direct Sensing market forward.
We sincerely thank those of you that took time out of your busy schedules to join us in Salina KS and those of you that were unable to attend we hope to see you next time.
