The Screen Point 22 (SP22) Groundwater Sampler from Geoprobe Systems® was designed to keep the screen away from all percussive energy while the sampler is lowered downhole, thus extending the life of the screen.
The SP22 can be used alone as a groundwater grab sampler or groundwater profiling tool, or with the DT22 Soil Sampling System. The screens can be deployed using either 1.25-in. Lightweight Center Rods or PVC riser.
The screen head adapts to either a stainless steel or PVC screen. Designed for tough direct push groundwater sampling conditions, the fully retrievable sampler works well with the 8040DT machine or with 77 or 66 Series machines.
Isolated SP22
Saving time when doing a lot of testing, the isolated SP22 securely holds the mechanical syringe pump or mechanical bladder pump, sealing the outer string.
The PFAS job couldn't have been done with a conventional machine or other method of drilling. SP16 and SP22 are proven sampling methods. In most situations, the EPA and Army Corps are already educated to how useful these tools are.
