3.25 in. Hollow Stem Augers

The most widely available size for hollow stem auger drilling or auger for soil sampling is 3.25-inch (6.25-inch outside diameter, including the flights), which has been used to install 2-inch (2.378 outside diameter) monitoring wells; however, using this size allows limited access.
