Depending upon your soil conditions, pushing the larger diameter NOVA15 cone can afford advantages such as: • Improved strength and durability provided by increasing diameter to 44 mm (1.73 inches) • Reduced rod friction yielding greater depths in fine-grain soils and clay material

Customers report side-by-side comparison pushing a 10cm2 NOVA to 85 feet, then offset to push NOVA 15 to 105 feet through restricting clay soils, which generated too much rod friction for the smaller diameter cone.
