MIP System Field Test for Low-Mid Level TCE

The DI group at Geoprobe Systems® is posting new data from the testing of MIP probes in mid-low level chlorinated volatile organic compounds (X-VOCs).  This presentation compares MIP logs to lab analysis of co-located soil samples obtained at a site with X-VOC contamination levels of <mg/KG.  TCE and other solvents were used at the former air force base where releases occurred over several years, beginning during World War II.  All the MIP data in these studies were collected using the new Geoprobe® MIHPT (combined MIP/HPT) tool.
