Tom Christy

Tom Christy, director and Direct Image^® advisor, has held many roles at Geoprobe^® but is passionate about Direct Image^® tooling. Before starting Geoprobe^® with Mel Kejr in 1987, Tom was a civil engineer and worked in environmental consulting, gaining experience in subsurface site characterization with a variety of groundwater contaminates. He also worked on a small water well drilling project in Africa. He is located in Salina, Kansas, where Geoprobe^® was founded, but is still involved with missions work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and makes regular trips back to the village he and his wife lived in back in the 1980s. Tom spends his free time with his grandchildren, as well as hiking and biking. He also raises cattle with his son, Joel, and enjoys being out in the pastures.
