We are excited to announce that on July 8, our fourth rig service center in Hickory, North Carolina, is officially open for drilling rig maintenance.
“TOP SERVICE is one of our organization’s key founding objectives that we’ve been building on since 1987,” Darren Stanley, Geoprobe® service director, said.
The North Carolina location is strategically located halfway between our Ocala, Florida, and Oxford, Pennsylvania, service locations making it easier for customers to get Genuine Geoprobe® service and support. We’re starting off strong with Todd Courbot (left) as the location manager and rig mechanic Trevin Bolick (right) as our first rig specialist, along with intern Levi Davis as a part-time rig mechanic.
The team helped provide drillers in the area drilling rig maintenance a few weeks before its official opening. NCSC’s first customer was Clear Water Solutions, who were experiencing some troubles with their recently-bought DM250 back in late May. They were then sent to the NCSC for further drilling rig maintenance assistance, since they were closer to their location.
“Considering how new the service center was and how it wasn’t officially open yet, I’d say they were pretty efficient. They got on it and fixed it quick,” Ryan Graham, driller, said. “I’m glad that we have a service center so close. It’s going to help us a lot. I’ve never run a water well rig that didn’t have issues. So if things do come up, it’s going to make things easier.”
If you need help keeping your rig in the field — no matter the make or model — give us a call. We’re happy to provide you with the drilling rig maintenance you need.
