Three and a three-quarter inch tooling from Geoprobe® is a versatile and robust tooling system that is a game changer for direct push applications.

Adding a few optional components opens up additional functions in the field.

With an inside diameter of three inches, the three and a three-quarter inch Probe Rods have an optimal casing for two inch Slim Prepack monitoring well installation.

A minimal borehole size maintains reasonable penetration rates.

The DT37 dual tube soil sampling system is used with the same Geoprobe® three and three-quarter inch rods to collect continuous soil samples that are approximately 2 inches in diameter.

Adding an expendable cutting shoe allows for the installation of two inch slim prepack monitoring wells in conjunction with collecting continuous soil cores.

If Standard Penetration Testing is necessary, adding a drive shoe and retractable point combination keeps the casing closed off during advancement.

This can be retracted at any time to allow a split spoon sampler to be advanced with an automatic drop hammer ahead of the three and a three-quarter inch tooling,
