Mandatory Inspection

Geoprobe Systems^® strongly encourages an immediate visual inspection of the oscillation cylinder bolts of all 78 Series machines.  Loose fasteners may lead to detachment of the cylinder and unexpected drill mast assembly rotation during operation or transport. 

The procedures for inspecting and tightening the oscillation cylinder bolts are presented in the video and service bulletin linked below.  Loose oscillation cylinder bolts are a safety hazard.  Do not transport or operate a 78 Series machine until it has passed a visual inspection of the oscillation cylinder bolts.
