Macro-Core® 1.25 inch Center Rod System

A. Assembled Macro-Core® Sampler with 1.25 in. center rod is driven to the first interval.

B. A 2.25 in. probe rod and 1.25 in. center rod are added and the tool string is advanced.

C. Additional 2.125 in. probe rods and 1.25 in. center rods are added until the desired sampling interval is reached.

D. Once the sampling interval is reached, the 1.25 in. center rod string is removed.

E. A 2.25 in. probe rod is added to the tool string.

F. The tools string is advanced and a soil core is collected in the liner. The tool string is retracted.
