MB6120 Electric Actuator

1. What is the MB6120K? This is a 12V DC powered actuator, mounting hardware and electric cables for running the MB470 Mechanical Bladder Pump.

2. What comes with the MB6120K? This includes the actuator and the accessory kit:  the kit includes well-protector mounting hardware, and electric cables to power it from any of the following sources: 12V outlet of a probe machine, 12V automobile accessory port, or 12V battery.

Adapters
are available to mount this on top of PVC pipe or Geoprobe® probe rod.

3. At what speeds can the MB6120 Electric Actuator operate?  Minimum speed is approximately 40 rpm and maximum speed is approximately 120 rpm.  Stroke length can be set to 3, 4, or 5 inches.

4. What is the power source for the MB6120 Electric Actuator? Probe Machine, car or motorcycle battery, or 12 volt DC accessory port

5. For what depths is it designed?  This actuator is designed to work for inlet depths up to 60 feet BGS.

6. How much current does it draw?  This will vary with each installation, but a couple of examples are:

inlet at 20' SWL at 15', 5.08 Amps average
inlet at 35' SWL at 30', 6.44 Amps average

7. How much does the MB6120 Electric Actuator weigh?  The MB6120 weighs less than 23 pounds.

8. What flow rate can I expect when operating the MB470 Mechanical Bladder Pump with the MB6120 Electric Actuator?

This will depend on several factors, the main ones are:
