DT325 Liner Cutter

Here’s an easy and safe way to view DT325 soil samples. The DT325 Liner Cutter makes two parallel cuts along the length of the filled liners. The field operator slides a filled liner onto the liner holder, which fits on any flat surface or can be held by the jaws of a machine vise. The liner cutter is pulled down the length of the liner as the cutter makes two parallel slits in the liner. After the cut, the sample can be removed or viewed through the top opening. The guards and wide handles keep the operator’s hands clear of both of the blades, drastically reducing the chance of injury while using the cutter. Extreme care should still be taken when using the cutter, especially during storage or blade replacement. The highly-visible red anodized center section, clear anodized side plates, and stainless steel hardware are corrosion resistant.
