Life @ Geoprobe
“Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me – practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” |

For nearly 14 years, we worked with, laughed with, and enjoyed spending time with Barbara Farmer. She joined the Geoprobe Team (in Financial Services) in early 1994 and remained a wonderful co-worker and friend until an extended battle with cancer ended her earthly life on June 29th. God designed us to be better together. And during Barb’s nearly 3-year battle with cancer, her co-workers, family, and friends stretched out their arms to embrace her and circle her with love. Barb’s unspoken sermon through the journey was a simple message to us: “Whether we’re in pain or well, our goal is meant to be to give glory to God, even when we’re suffering.” Barb did this with an unbelievable amount of grace and faith and strength. She didn’t hide her desire for others to catch on to this message; she just showed us her faith by the way she lived, worked with us, and loved us. The circle is now complete. And even though the touching ends, the circle remains. |
