Geoprobe® Rod Wiper Features:
- Alloy steel.
- Pliable rubber "grabs" unwanted downhole debris.
- For 1.25-inch and 1.5-inch tools.
- A MUST for conductivity and MIP logging

A two-piece rod wiper system helps clean excess dirt and mud from rods before and after use. Use Rod Wiper Rubber alone when pushing rods downhole; great for use with MIP logging. The Rod Wiper Plate slides under the probe foot when pulling rods. Rod Wiper Rubber is 6.25 in. OD, 1.0 in. thick, with a 1.0 in. diameter hole. Used with Model 5410 and 66 Series machines.
Adjustable Center Rod Clamp
Prevent dropped probe rod strings!
This easy-to-use Adjustable Rod Holder gives you hands-free operation around your tool string while adding or removing rods. All of the work associated with the rod holder is done with your foot! The
Adjustable Rod Holder is used with the Macro-Core® MC5, DT22, DT325, and DT45 sampling systems when an inner rod sampling
string is used. It prevents rod strings from falling into the “black hole” and
eliminates costly downtime.

The rod holder grip can be hand-adjusted to conform with the different surface finishes of new and used rods. The rod holder allows the field operator to user their hands to remove or add rods to the tool string while using their foot to release or hold the inner rod string.
The rod holder sits on the outer rod string (either the ID of 3.25 in. probe rods or the OD of 2.25 in. probe rods). A notch in the front of the holder allows for easy, one-hand setup,” explained Dave Golden, Project Designer, “and the holder can be used anytime when inner rods are added or removed.” The rod holder can be used with either the Geoprobe® 1.25 in. Light-Weight Center Rods or regular 1.25 in. Geoprobe® probe rods.

Leaf Pull Plates
Great new tool to hold probe rods during tool string pullback. Designed for use with hydraulic winch when using 2.25 in probe rods (32952) or 1.25 in. probe rods (31499) and with Light-Weight Center Rods.

(above left) Use your foot to release the inner rod string. (above middle) The grip on the rod holder is tightened or loosened by hand to adjust to the different surface finishes of either new or used rods. (above right) The rod holder sits on the outer rod string (either the ID of 3.25 in. probe rods or the OD of 2.25 in. rods which are shown here). It’s a great way to eliminate the expensive and time-consuming problem of rods falling down hole.
